Day 3 - Lubango/Namibe

On this day, you will continue your journey traveling to Namibe, located about 2.5 hours south of Lubango. Namibia is a province of Angola with a climate that is very temperate and humid along the coast, at a tropical latitude and presents vast deserts and semi-desert regions in much of the territory, contiguous with the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.

Starting your journey high in the mountains, you will pass the most incredible overland experience driving down the curves of Serra Leba Mountain (the iconic images you always see of Angola with winding mountain roads).

The desert of Namibe is one of the oldest deserts in the world. In terms of wildlife, you may be able to see snakes, Oryxes, lizards, and a rare plant in the world only found in Namibe's desert, the welwitschia Mirabilis. Being at Namibe, the most exciting thing that you can do is spend 2 days of your tour on a desert safari.

There is a safari lodge called Flamingo that will be your host place for this.

Day 4 - Namibe

Day 7 - Malange / Luanda

Today, you will visit the Kalandula Waterfalls, located in Malanje province, which is 105 meters high and considered one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. This major waterfall is powerful and impressive since it's surrounded by scenic landscapes to match, great grasslands, and spanning savannas.

Return to Luanda.

Day 8 - Luanda / Quiçama

Departure to Kissama National Park which is an Angolan natural park, situated in Bengo province, the closest one to Luanda that is reachable by tourists.
