Day 1: Luanda-Quiçama Park
Earlier departure from Luanda. On the way, we will stop at Miradoura de Lua, or Viewpoint of the Moon which offers such stunning views that it has long been one of Angola’s most visited tourist attractions. The Miradouro da Lua has been uniquely eroded and shaped by the wind and rain throughout thousands of years. Though it is a sight to behold at any time of the day, this extraterrestrial landscape is best viewed at sunset. Continue to a local resort to have breakfast and take a boat trip to the Kwanza River.
After an earlier lunch, we will drive to Quiçama Park for a game drive that will take around 2 hours.
Departure to Cabo Ledo where we will spend the night in a local resort.
Day 2: Kwanza Sul
After breakfast, depart to Kwanza Sul. Before heading to Sassa Caves, we will refresh ourselves in Porto Amboim before we visit the canyon on the Cubal River (Garganta do Cubal). After this visit, time to explore the Sassa Caves.
The 30-minute walk to the Sassa Caves will take us through almost untouched scrubland. After the visit, we will drive to our Hotel in Sumbe City, the Capital of Kwanza Sul.
Day 3: Cachoeira do Binga Falls.
After breakfast, we head to the Cachoeira do Binga Falls. These small waterfalls are surrounded by beautiful landscapes of the Angolan Scarp savanna and woodlands with their unique plants and animals.
Before the Civil War, the region developed into the most important coffee-growing area in Angola.
Enjoy nature before getting back to Luanda. The estimated arrival for Luanda will be late afternoon.

The Kwanza Sul region has been known since the colonial era and is popular for its beaches. The mountainous province is famous for its Neolithic cave paintings and the ruins of old fortifications, as well as its multitude of caves.
The Sassa Caves, which are probably the most famous in the region, were nominated for the choice of the 7 wonders of Angola.
But also its beaches (Praia dos Namorados), waterfalls, and thermal springs (As águas quentes do Conda-cachoeiras do Binga, Cascata do Kawambundo near the village of Wako-Kungo), the Barragem da Sassa (dam), and the Grutas da Maria Bonita their beautiful view of the water are worth the trip.
