Day 1 - Luanda / Malange (kaladula falls)
Go on a day drive and visit Ndalatando Botanical Gardens en route.
Visit Black Rocks in Pungo Andongo, generally known as Pedras Negras. The Black Rocks are a series of giant mysterious rock formations shaped in the form of animals in the Savanna.
Drive to Malange to be accommodated in a local hotel.
Day 2 - Malange / Luanda
Today, you will visit the Kalandula Waterfalls, located in Malanje province, which is 105 meters high and considered one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. This major waterfall is powerful and impressive since it's surrounded by scenic landscapes to match, great grasslands, and spanning savannas.
Return to Luanda.
Day 3 - Luanda / Quiçama
Quiçama National Park is an Angolan natural park, situated 100 km away from Luanda, the closest one to Luanda that is reachable by tourists. Quiçama has an area of almost 10.000 km². The vegetation is varied from Kwanza riverbanks into the park: dense woods, savanna, cacti, baobab trees, etc. Its diversified vegetation allows a rich and varied fauna. There are giraffes, elephants, African manatees, red sable, among others, and a diversity of birds.
Earlier departure from Luanda. On the way, we will stop at a local resort to take breakfast and take a boat trip to the Kwanza river. After an earlier lunch, we will drive to Quiçama park for a game drive that will take around 2 hours.
Stay at Cabo Ledo in a local lodge.
Day 4 - Quiçama / Luanda
Drive to Luanda.
On the way back to Luanda we will stop at Miradoura de Lua, or Viewpoint of the Moon which offers such stunning views that it has long been one of Angola’s most visited tourist attractions. The Miradouro da Lua has been uniquely eroded and shaped by the wind and rain over the course of thousands of years.
Continue to Luanda, to do a city tour where you can visit the most important places of Luanda, The Fort of São Miguel (now the National Museum of the army), the Mausoleum, the anthropology museum, and the Iron Palace.
