75 km away from Luanda you can find one of the best destinations for golfers in Africa, the Mangais Golf resort. Mangais Ecoresort was born of the courage and perseverance of the promoters, having been conceived and started before the end of the civil war in Angola. Set in Barra do Kwanza, on its right bank, adjacent to the bridge that crosses the river and about 1,500 meters from the river mouth.
The project fully justifies the name Mangais Ecoresort because, besides the impressive range of mangroves along the river, has the natural characteristics of excellence. The fauna and flora prevail over the low density of construction, being of an entire eco-oriented project.
The first phase includes a golf course of 18 holes. These 18 holes with a maximum distance of about 7,050 meters have the strong characteristics of a championship course. The wide choice of tees, most of them with six tee boxes each hole, gives the player the choice of playing it, more or less long, according to their level of desire.
